Ordering
Original paintings
Each painting is on canvas or board (as stated) in various mediums, including oil or acrylic and signed by the artist, Barbara Hawkins. The subject matter reflects a 25year love of living in Port Isaac, a theme which never tires to inspire me. Payment: Any import/export taxes are paid by the purchaser. You will be notified of delivery times. We use Parcelforce and DHL, for the paintings.
The price at the checkout includes full UK insured postage. If any item is not available, you will be notified immediately and will not be charged or receive a full refund if payment has been made. A standard charge of £15.00 will be made at the check-out to cover postage & packaging costs. Copyright remains with the artist.

Returns Policy
- Damaged goods: I hope that you will be pleased with your order, however if the goods arrive and are damaged or faulty, please inform us within 48 hours and will arrange either a replacement or full refund.
- Paintings: buying a piece of art is a highly personal choice to make. The online photographs reflect the colours as carefully as possible. However, should you change your mind within 14 days of receipt, you can return the painting and a refund will be arranged (via your original payment method upon return of the painting undamaged.)
- Cancellation: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have a right to cancel your purchase. However, to exercise this right you must notify us in writing, (email or letter) within 14 from the day after you receive your goods.
- Refunds: Please allow two weeks to process your refund or exchange upon receipt.
- Returns: When possible please send any goods back in their original packaging. You are responsible for full return postage costs. It is advisable to insure any returns. Please retain your proof of posting, as I cannot be held responsible for items that get lost or damaged in transit.
- The customer is responsible for return postage/carrier costs.
- Your full consumer rights are protected under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms & Conditions if the delay or failure is caused by any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of god, war, civil disorder or industrial dispute. These terms & conditions do not affect your statutory rights
- These terms & conditions shall be interpreted, construed and enforced in accordance with English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Your details are only retained until the full completion of the transaction. Your information is not retained, shared, or distributed unless legally requested. Our privacy policy is in line with current GDPR law and Data Protection Act 2018.
